Last updated: 6 July 2026

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions apply to your use of renocast.co.za, your submission of enquiries, and your dealings with Renocast for cast stone cobblestones, pavers, related products, and project guidance.

By using our website, submitting an enquiry, requesting a quote, or placing an order with Renocast, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

If you do not agree with these Terms and Conditions, you should not use our website or submit an enquiry.

3. Website information

The information on our website is provided for general product and project guidance.

We aim to keep product descriptions, sizes, finishes, colours, and other information accurate and up to date. However, website content may contain errors or may become outdated. We may update, change, or remove website content at any time without notice.

Images, colour examples, product descriptions, and project references are indicative only. Final appearance may vary depending on batch, lighting, screen settings, installation method, sealing, weathering, and site conditions.

4. Enquiries and quotes

Submitting a website enquiry does not create a sale, order, reservation, or binding agreement.

A sale or order will only be created once:

  • Renocast issues a written quote or invoice;
  • you accept the quote or invoice;
  • any required payment is made according to the quote or invoice; and
  • Renocast confirms the order in writing.

Quotes are based on the information available at the time, including measurements, product choices, finishes, quantities, and project details supplied by you.

Unless stated otherwise in writing, a quote is valid for 7 days from the date of issue.

5. Product range and availability

Renocast products are made in practical standard sizes and finishes. Availability may depend on current stock, production runs, raw materials, colour selection, finish selection, and order quantity.

We may discontinue, change, or limit products, colours, finishes, or sizes at any time.

Custom colours, special production requests, or non-standard orders may be subject to additional terms, longer lead times, minimum quantities, and non-refundable deposits where confirmed in writing.

6. Natural variation in cast stone

Cast stone is a manufactured material with natural character.

You acknowledge that products may show variation in:

  • colour;
  • tone;
  • surface texture;
  • edge character;
  • markings;
  • minor dimensional tolerance;
  • batch appearance;
  • weathering over time.

These variations are part of the nature of cast stone and are not necessarily defects.

Where products need to match closely, you should discuss this with Renocast before ordering. We recommend ordering enough product from the same batch for the relevant project area where batch consistency is important.

7. Measurements, quantities, and project guidance

Renocast may help estimate quantities based on measurements, photos, drawings, sketches, or descriptions supplied by you.

Unless Renocast confirms otherwise in writing:

  • all quantity guidance is an estimate only;
  • you remain responsible for checking measurements and final quantities;
  • you should allow for cuts, wastage, breakages, layout choices, and site conditions;
  • Renocast is not responsible for shortages or excess product resulting from incorrect or incomplete measurements supplied by you.

For best results, final quantities should be checked by your installer, landscaper, builder, or other competent person before ordering.

8. Pricing, VAT, and payment

Prices are quoted in South African Rand.

Renocast is not currently VAT registered.

Quoted prices may exclude offloading, installation, sealing, site preparation, additional materials, or other project costs unless expressly included in writing.

Payment requirements will be set out in the relevant quote or invoice. Renocast may require payment before production, reservation of stock, or release of products.

Ownership of products remains with Renocast until full payment has been received and cleared.

9. Supply-only sales

Renocast currently supplies products on a supply-only basis.

Unless agreed in writing, Renocast does not provide installation services, site preparation, setting out, offloading, sealing, landscaping, building work, or contractor supervision.

Any project-specific arrangements outside product supply must be confirmed in writing before they apply.

10. Lead times and production

Any production timelines discussed with you are estimates unless Renocast expressly agrees to a fixed date in writing.

Timelines may be affected by stock availability, production capacity, curing time, supplier delays, weather, public holidays, customer changes, or circumstances outside Renocast's reasonable control.

Renocast will take reasonable steps to communicate material changes to estimated timelines.

11. Inspection on receipt

You or your representative must inspect products as soon as reasonably possible after receiving them.

Any visible damage, incorrect product, incorrect quantity, or obvious issue should be reported to Renocast as soon as possible, preferably before installation.

Products should not be installed if they are visibly incorrect or damaged. Installation may be treated as acceptance of the product, except where the issue was not reasonably visible before installation.

12. Installation and site conditions

The performance and appearance of paving products depend heavily on correct installation, bedding, compaction, drainage, jointing, sealing, substrate preparation, site conditions, and ongoing maintenance.

Renocast is not responsible for failures, movement, staining, cracking, chipping, water pooling, efflorescence, or other issues caused by incorrect installation, poor drainage, unsuitable base preparation, misuse, inadequate maintenance, chemical exposure, abnormal loads, or site conditions outside Renocast's control.

You should use a competent installer and ensure that installation is suitable for the intended use, including driveways or load-bearing areas.

13. Returns, exchanges, and defects

Renocast will deal with returns, exchanges, and defective products in accordance with applicable South African law and the specific terms of the accepted quote or invoice.

Products will not usually be accepted for return where:

  • they were specially made, custom coloured, or produced for your order;
  • they have been installed, used, altered, sealed, cut, damaged, or mixed with other batches;
  • the issue relates only to natural variation in cast stone;
  • the return is requested because of incorrect measurements or over-ordering by you;
  • the products are not in their original condition.

If you believe a product is defective, you must notify Renocast and provide reasonable details, including photos, order information, and a description of the issue.

Renocast must be given a reasonable opportunity to inspect the product before any remedy is considered.

14. Cancellations and changes

Orders may not be cancelled or changed after production has started, stock has been reserved, custom materials have been ordered, or products have been released, unless Renocast agrees in writing.

Where cancellation is accepted, Renocast may deduct reasonable costs already incurred, including production costs, materials, administration, handling, and any custom-order costs.

Custom, special, or made-to-order products may require a non-refundable deposit where this is confirmed in the accepted quote or invoice.

15. Customer-supplied photos, drawings, and information

When you send photos, sketches, drawings, measurements, plans, or other project information to Renocast, you confirm that you are entitled to share that information with us.

Renocast may use that information only for purposes related to your enquiry, quote, order, project guidance, internal records, or service improvement, unless you give us permission to use it for another purpose.

16. Website use

You may use our website only for lawful purposes.

You may not:

  • attempt to access systems, data, or forms without authorisation;
  • submit false, misleading, abusive, or unlawful content;

You may view and share website pages for personal, project, or purchasing purposes. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, publish, or use our content for commercial purposes without written permission from Renocast.

18. Third-party links

Our website may contain links to third-party websites or services.

Renocast is not responsible for third-party websites, content, policies, security, availability, or services. You access third-party websites at your own risk.

19. Privacy

Your submission of personal information to Renocast is governed by our Privacy Policy.

By submitting an enquiry or communicating with Renocast, you agree that we may process your personal information for the purposes described in our Privacy Policy.

20. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits any rights or remedies that you may have under applicable South African law.

To the extent permitted by law, Renocast will not be liable for indirect, special, incidental, or consequential loss, including loss of profit, loss of use, project delays, contractor costs, or loss arising from incorrect measurements, unsuitable installation, site conditions, misuse, or normal product variation.

Renocast's liability for any claim relating to products supplied will, to the extent permitted by law, be limited to repair, replacement, refund, or another remedy agreed in writing or required by law.

21. Events outside our control

Renocast will not be responsible for delay or failure to perform where caused by events outside our reasonable control, including supplier delays, transport disruptions, extreme weather, power interruptions, labour disruptions, material shortages, equipment failure, public holidays, civil unrest, or other circumstances beyond our control.

22. Changes to these Terms

Renocast may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time.

The latest version will be posted on our website. Continued use of the website after changes are posted will mean that you accept the updated Terms and Conditions.

23. Governing law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

Any dispute relating to these Terms, the website, enquiries, quotes, orders, or products will be dealt with under South African law.
